If you're a senior Associate with a company like Cognizant, I believe it's a good opportunity as you're getting a bigger brand and the job will hopefully be more fulfilling than a generalist business analyst role!
Besides you also need to think on how many years would it take you to reach to that CTC in your present organisation, if it's more than 3 then definitely go for the offer in hand!
Designation doesn’t matter , money does, if you reach a firm with High amount they will have to adjust your designation accordingly due to the Band
PwC promises high variable amount but I did not see anyone getting paid in reality. I know a dozen folks in that fixed pay range with 25% variable promised on paper. None of us got more than 5%-7% even with good ratings and full utilisation.
It's probably given for campus hires not for laterals

I don't think you're lowballed really unless your peers in the same service line with MBA background are getting paid more. I don't have much information about that.
I hope someone else here will have the information.

I see some people in team who are only graduates and are associate. Of course their compensation would be less. But still sitting at the same position even after MBA, makes me feel bad.
Designation wise:Yes
Monetary wise:No
Hierarchy varies accordingly based upon team and entity.
In case of PwC SDC kolkata people with 1-2 YoE are taken at Senior Associate level and their pay sometimes is less than 13 LPA.
In case of PwC SDC Bangalore it's different.
Which mc practice is this?
It's probably EP
What is MC?

1. Come to terms with your current situation ASAP. Been there done that, you’ll hate every ounce of work delegated to you. Even if you were lowballed, you at least have a better pay grade than your last firm. Be grateful! Although you may deserve better, but be contended for now.
2. Focus on your long term aspirations and plan to move to next level, talk to your buddy, Senior Manager & Partner. That’ll really help you in the long run
3. Everybody have their own priorities, basis on which they’ll answer here. But you’ll have to find your own way to be contended. 20 LPA can be good for me, and is low for you. Change your perspective and you’ll be at peace.
Which team are you joining in MC? Probably the team is new or not directly related to your previous experience? Then they take you at the lower designation. BTW PwC MC is offering Associate role for people with less than 3 YoE ( lateral hires)

Yes, fair enough, if only compensation is considered. People do mba for jump in position i suppose. Which sadly isn't the case in here.

Hey!
It depends on service line also...Mind me telling that?
A few of my friends have joined as Associate and some of them are from top 10 bschools. I don't see designation as a problem at all and in PwC SA is almost equivalent to AM so 2 years post MBA exp won't make cut (also don't compare with camous joinees bcz inhouse ppl have faster growth)
Secondly is your 15lpa fixed?
Dude, same here... Went through 3 iterations just to reach a near around figure. Had to sit through other interviews just to get the PwC HR to increase.
For me, they started with a fixed salary lower than my previous fixed. I guess, that's PWC MC for you.
Are there still openings in PwC for MC? Need to refer someone.
Hey there... U can ping me Or share the CV and the role interested in to darkseid0antilife@gmail.com
You are receiving at par if not more I would say. Can you talk about the industry you have been hired for?
