Is it financially irresponsible to buy a home that requires you to divert what you’re currently saving / investing monthly to pay the mortgage?

Anyone going to play AMZN earnings? It’s hard to say if we will still have low expectations this quarter but have to think AWS has done real well this quarter. It’s probably too early to tell how much WMT + is stealing business. The wild card is if they announce stock split.
