Has any former KPMG employee succeed in getting the EVL signed by a direct supervisor? I was told by several people the company contractually does not allow its employees to sign anything like that. Since that's the case can I:

1) leverage expereince submitted within my previous h1b by KPMG and get a general EVL from HR (preferred) OR
2) get a general EVL (if this is the case is there any alternative document I can obtain in place of affidavits?)

So can I accept the offer from first company and then if second one also sends an offer then let the first company know I would like to reject? Also i am on H1B visa. Scenario: US visa expired in 2021. Applied for a Canadian tourist visa to hopefully go for H-1B stamping in Canada once they open appointments.
Biometrics completed. Haven’t received any comm regarding my tourist visa approval. My partner already revived the visa long ago even if we allied together. Could it be because my US visa has expired? The reason I gave for applying for visitor visa was just for tourism purposes.
