Worked for 10.5yrs in Infy Package is 11L and now I have an offer from Enquero(Genpact) for 20L and as a counteroffer from Infy:- 40% hike + Canada visa or 70% hike

Please suggest which will be better for the long term for Testing(Automation/Manual)

PS: I have not considered a Canada visa

Desi folks - question on travelling outside US while you're on L1B visa. I have my valid visa stamp till 2022. Do any of you know if we can travel to India in Dec and come back in Jan? Or is it affected by the Trump executive order that was passed in Jun that said non-immigrant workers can't enter the country till Dec 31? Just wondering if I leave for holidays, will I not be allowed back. Any sort of clarification you might have is helpful. FYI - I was in US before that June ruling came out. Thx

I am on my second year of STEM OPT. Was not selected in the H1b lottery this year. Have another shot next year (still low chances of getting selected). Could I still be selected, assuming that some companies are going to lay off some workers/withdraw apps? What should be my plan B if I don’t get selected next year?

Why if you are on H1B is so much problematic for vendors looking for contractors ? Vendors keep on asking to join on W2 rather that Corp to Corp although for employees on H1B we cannot join on W2 due to immigration issues. Point being does it matter for end client , if the contractor is coming as W2 or not ?
