Has anyone else been feeling this way?

Anyone here know of a good 🏳️🌈 therapist?
Hope I can win without playing

If it was easy, people wouldn’t need to hire someone to assist them. The challenge is the adventure.

That is normal for two years in. There is so much you are still learning: substantive law, rules of evidence, procedural rules, how to survive and thrive in a law firm, how to most effectively talk to clients and opposing counsel, how to try cases if you are a litigator and how to close a deal if you are a transactional attorney.
I would be worried if you felt comfortable two years in because it means you may have a false sense of security and may not be aware that there are things you still don’t know.
You will eventually get to the point where you think you do feel comfortable and then you will find some case law or come across something new that makes you dig deeper and you will realize you only thought you knew what you were doing before and there is a whole other area that you need to learn.
Then you will master that and feel comfortable until this happens again. It will keep going like this forever because the law is a vast field and it is difficult to know everything about every area of the law, which is why mainly attorneys focus on just one area.
It is normal. The reward is a professional that is not boring in that there is always something to learn.
If you feel stuck in a different way and like you aren’t fitting in, seek out a career coach or a life coach who can help you figure out what you really want and whether you can get that from where you are or if you need to forge a new path.
