Has anyone ever shipped their personal car into or out of Houston as part of a cross country move? Any companies you recommend?

Have used Montway for two LD cross country moves. They weren't they lowest bid, but were competitive. Both had complicated scheduling and they were willing to accommodate. You pay a minimum upfront and the rest upon delivery. You have the driver's cell number so easy contact. They probably move the largest volume and do the best job screening companies who drive for them. The quote you get is what you pay. I know other people who got a low quote from other companies, but the price changed. So be sure and read reviews.

You can shop quotes pretty easily. I shipped an suv from Chicago to Houston for $800. I paid half upfront and half upon delivery. Car was with one other car and it was some Russian dude named Yuri.

Haha yes I have quotes, but I still also value hearing others’ recommendations.

Hey all! I have an interview with
Deloitte in Regulatory Risk and more precisely in their Investment Management Services team. I would like to know if anyone
knows what the job entails exactly. I keep hearing about people "fooled" into taking a job in risk advisory thinking it'll really be advisory while they only end up doing IT and Audit support (which I do not want to do).
Is it the case here?
Thanks!

My observation is that it is hard for consulting partners to land the quality public or private board roles everyone naturally targets. Despite there being a significant amount of exceptional talent that could be deployed, there is a big bias against consultants. Everyone wants “operators,” but I feel every board could also benefit from one current or former consulting partner. But sadly, that’s not the way the external world looks at things...
