Has anyone gotten any kind of salary adjustment for the recent inflated prices, specifically on petrol? I am considering asking as I am driving over 60km each way to work and it is becoming extremely dreadful. I am looking to see if anyone has had recent success or if other firms have done something as it seems that my firm will tend to bandwagon.

I got an offer at Nokia, and my new manager said that she wanted to put me in the higher salary bracket however the HR insisted that we lowered the range.
