Full time or part time? We’ve hired a full timer and it’s been great. I don’t have any experience with supplemental or part time though.

So based on the below response I’m thinking maybe you want more of a contractor through an agency? We hired through normal channels, put an ad out and ended up with HUGE response. I think we got 73 candidates in 72 hours. We ended up with around 15 great candidates. I think a lot of people are really looking for remote roles and it worked in our favor.

Advice for Of Counsel roles? I am of counsel at a firm where I can set my own rate and keep a percentage of collections, which varies slightly depending on whether the client is one I generated or not. I’m finding that a lot of my work is for firm clients where the lawyer negotiated a flat fee (and the hours worked are less, due to efficiency etc). 3 attorney firm. I’ve been here for 6 years and have used Westlaw exclusively. Now we are switching to Lexis because apparently Westlaw is too expensive. I hate change. I know where everything is on Westlaw and now I need to relearn. Apparently Westlaw will not budge on price and would rather just see a client leave than work with them. Super annoying.
