I have my first round McKinsey phone case interview today and honestly feel nervous enough to throw up. Anyone done this type of screen before/have any tips or pointers to pass?
Considering an analyst role at F500 tech company in their FP&A team. Role responsibilities are: budgeting / forecasting, M&A and little accounting work. This role has a rotational focus and starts at 94k + 10% bonus. I am going up for SA this year (2 YOE, .5 at KPMG) and currently make 80k. Should I make this jump or wait until SA for other exit opportunities? Ideally was looking for strategy positions but I see alot of FP&A exits here too.
Asking if anyone could provide a referral for Accenture’s Consulting Development Program. Thank you!

I got laid off and am putting together my CV. I’m confused and would like advice on how to structure my resume given in consulting we move across so many different roles and type of project work. Would anyone mind sending me an example of their CV? I’m targeting FAANG and start ups at the moment for product management roles. Background is in human capital consulting though I’ve had technical roles in the past and one traditional product management role in a short project.
Does anyone have experience working at a small company? I was furloughed and I’m looking for other opportunities, and I’ve had a few interviews/chats with the Co-founder of this real estate company...
When should I start applying to full-time positions if I graduate in December 2022? I currently have an internship this summer in consulting at IBM. And last summer I interned at the Federal Reserve doing compliance and digital transformation. I don't know if I will return to IBM, but I will decide on that based on the experience I have at the internship. However in the mean time I want to explore and see what other opportunities there are. Any advice on when and where to apply for full-time?
How many rounds does BCG have? Is it just the the online case+fit and then two 45 min interviews for final round?
When interviewing for a job, is it in my benefit to say I was laid off because of COVID or should I pretend as if I’m still employed?

Is this recruiter hitting on me “I know you are a hot commodity, and recieve a lot of these messages but I really think this role is VERY HOT 😊”.
Am trying to switch into tech transformation or strategy from implementation, as it aligns more with my experience. Anyone able to give a referral to another Big 4 who has this offering??
Hello Fishes - Can some explain the interview process for PwC Netherlands? I'm having a coffee chat initially, post which, if it works then I may be called in subsequent rounds. Btw - I'm interviewing for Cyber Risk profile with five years of experience. Also, any tips? TIA!
I’m interviewing at outside companies during my performance review cycle. All signs point to a positive performance review so far and my manager has even brought up the very likely possibility of a promotion within the next six weeks. But I’m interviewing elsewhere as I’d like to open myself up to different opportunities due to the work culture and compensation in my current role. Will accepting a promotion and then potentially leaving weeks after hurt my resume and burn bridges? Any advice?
My comp talk this year is titled "compensation and career discussions." Probably reading into the last part too much but that isn't anything to be worried about, right?
Hi guys! Joining in EY in the NYC office in February. Was wondering - what is the current wfh/in office structure? Is it hybrid or totally remote? Was debating living in a city for a month or so if it’s fully remote. Thank you!
If Leaving FDD (deals advisory) for an FP&A job at the senior associate level, should I expect a base salary decrease?
Is it bad to not tell your firm where you’re going when you leave? Going to competitor with certain practices of ours and worried about my bonus getting withheld (policy is still to pay it out pro-rated for the year)
Would Publicis Sapient MC practice have exit ops at the same level as Big 4? Or is their brand name closer to Tier 2 strategy consulting firms and MBB?
Sad day for SPG again ... Sigh
Anyone has tips on acing the PWC on-demand video interview. I failed the last one and would like to try again. I would also appreciate if there is anyone in HR perhaps (familiar with the sort of questions to expect) willing to do a mock interview with me. I really want to give it my best shot.
Ever have an interview so bad you felt almost good about it? The recruiter started our conversation venting about a referral who was grossly under qualified. This immediately shifted to the agency does not follow industry standard titles. They are all very senior...so I should consider a much more junior role (they hadn't talked more about the role at hand). After talking of my experience they then summed me up as a "media person" and I had to correct that I never worked at a media agency.
Any examples of pharma/healthcare TikToks?
Is it a bad look as a senior associate (on the path to manager within a year) to be driving an expensive car like a C7 or C8 corvette that is $70k+? I don’t think it is and here’s my rationale. I’m making over 6 figures, maxing out my 401k and IRA accounts with extra $ going to a brokerage account, I have a 3BR 1300 sq foot home with finished basement and garage for $170k. My two loans are only $240k combined. Heck most people spend more on a house alone. Work remote so vette isn’t daily driver.
Has anyone travelled recently to the Caribbean islands with unvaccinated kids? Looking for some recommendations. Preference is for places that 1) are relatively low in terms of Covid numbers, 2) private and not so busy resorts 3) ease of travel
Anyone receive an offer from LinkedIn Biz Ops and know total comp details? 2.5 YOE for reference
