Is this… successful?

Skechers has already created the greatest product of all time in the Slip Ins. They need no advertising.
They all suck - AI is meant to help you be a better creative in the background - it’s not meant to do the creative. But hey, let the man find out the hard way when their brand goes dumpster fire. 🔥

I mean we’re still talking about it aren’t we?
Answer: no
Liquid Death has been leaning heavily into AI. Not sure which of their recent spots is 100% AI generated, though.
I think you can lean into AI heavily if you’re taking the piss out of it, and the AI is bugging out with hallucinations - but to try and do it seriously is just… no.
What did Jeep do?
I’m sure I’ll get lambasted or get an “ok boomer” comment for appearing to be a naysayer. I’m not. Ai is highly nuanced and useful in very specific ways; it’s useful to create the images and video for a human generated idea and creative theme. It’s not good for being creative, ie, just a brief as a prompt to be very pedantic about it. Because all Ai does is aggregate all of the creative it can find and manifest something based on that. So essentially you’re shooting straight for the middle of the bell curve. It’s going to be derivative of a massive body and range of work, not grown from a human creative spark (if used that way). The Coke Christmas ads with the trucks feels like it started with a fairly uninspired “prompt” that was specific about a pretty dull idea “trucks delivering Coke to a town at Christmas time!” Is that even an inspired idea? Insightful? No.
We haven’t seen anything from Ai that knocks socks off our feet yet because it’s really in the embryonic stage. It will change and perhaps even become insightful and radically creative.
