Have an interview lined up with Capgemini for a Senior Applications Consultant position (in SAP BRIM SOM). Can anyone give me some tips on the interviewing process and just general advice about Capgemini?

They tend to be very nice people. Be personal-able, professional and align to the 7 values of Capgemini. Focus on the value you add, both sectors and functional.

^Agreed most people I interacted with at Cap were nice and relaxed. I would suggest learning as much as you can about your specific team and what projects they do. Capgemini is very fragmented with big differences across service lines. If you get further down the process see if you can network with some current/former people at your level to get their candid experience. I had a great time at Capgemini but was in a different part of the company. I had friends in other areas that hated it.

Title on here is out of date but I’ve got over ten years agency experience as a digital producer, highest level being EP and then Executive Director. Feeing underpaid compared to what I hear about client side (current base 110k, 15% bonus + commission)

I’d love to shift to client side as EP or Program Manager and looking for advice on best way to get my foot in the door.

Feels like I’ve got the same experience as those in the roles but submitting an application thru sites is like shouting in

Slalom Consulting this might be a total long shot, but I recently finished the interview process with slalom and they gave me a *verbal* contingent offer for an incoming contract. However, I just found out I might have to relocate to Boston soon. I would love to stick with slalom as the goal company, but wondering if I could talk to the recruiter about transferring my application to the Boston office? Any advice? TY!

I’m fairly new to contributing to my 401k, I see mixed opinions on Roth vs. Traditional. My informal life advisor is trying to tell me that the opportunity cost for not having the investments in the traditional 401k is greater than the long term tax benefits from contributing to a Roth 401k? Does anyone have a qualified opinion on this?

Told a friend of mine in tech I was considering moving to BCG. He asked me if I would have to move to Boston.

I followed up by asking what he thought the top consulting firms were. "I'd guess PwC and then McKinsey are the best. I've also heard of KPMG, Deloitte, and Bain, but I don't know much about them."

Just a reminder that outside our bubble no-one really cares about firm prestige etc.
