Alvarez & Marsal Have two offers currently:
1.) Alvarez & Marsal (Healthcare Group): Analyst role at $80k with potential to go up to associate next year (~$90-$100k base w/ potential to gain a 100% bonus)
2.) TRINITY (Forecast Group): Consultant role at $100k with a 15% bonus
My main predicament is that A&M offers more upside potential comp and projectwise, but the base salary at the moment is pretty dust (trying to negotiate it up to at least $90k by leveraging Trinity offer). Thoughts?

If HIG pays on cohort basis, you have zero wiggle room in terms of base pay adjustment. You could ask for guaranteed bonus in year 1 and/or sign-on (the latter is pretty unlikely given analysts are entry positions, but you never know until you ask).
Based on what the recruiter has said, sounds like it is. Just shot an e-mail to see if I can get the base salary raised given I have >1 year of direct consulting experience and this other offer pending, but it sounds like sign-on bonus is the only aspect that can be changed
I went from $75k base to $125k base in 2.2 years
$180k and $220k comp for the full years
SC1, fresh MBA grads typically join A&M as SA. Expect lower-than -industry base, but can pull in 250k TC or more if utilized.
A&M. Lots of opportunities for growth and huge upside.
And what’s the average bonus for A&M?
