I’m
Yes indeed. I was out of work a couple years back and got an interview for a stocker position. Really didn't want to do it, but I needed the money, so I went anyway. It sounded about as miserable as expected, which I was okay with, until they told me the schedule was 11 PM - 7 AM Monday-Thursday. Nowhere in the posting did it indicate it was a night shift role, and I'm positive that was intentional. I said that wouldn't work for me, thanked them for their time and left.

That’s frustrating. If a job is a night shift, it should definitely be clearly mentioned in the posting. It’s good you were upfront about it though, no point moving forward when the schedule just isn’t going to work. At least you didn’t waste any more of your time.
Ah yes, the good ol' days when jobs were easy to find and we could turn offers down 😂 I had a couple of occasions where I knew pretty early on in the interview that it would not be the job for me, but I still always completed the interview anyway. There is no point in burning a bridge, and you never know what they might say that could change that impression.

That’s true. I’ve done the same, even if I realize early on it’s probably not the right fit, I still go through the rest of the interview. Like you said, you never know if something might come up that changes your perspective, and it’s always good to leave things on a positive note.
