Hello All, I am Lead Software Engineer in Java Backend with YOE of 11 years. I want to explore abroad opportunities relevant to me but unfortunately I have not been very lucky to get any in my projects so far. I have started applying through LinkedIn but I not getting much responses :( Countries of my preference are Europe, UAE, Singapore, Australia and Canada. Can someone please guide me with better process to apply for onsite opportunities? As I realized applying only on LinkedIn isn't enough.

My firm’s IT (especially system saving and file locating function) is so bad 😐😞 and they keep doing updates no one asked them for just to mess with the stuff we already got a hang of without doing anything about the issues we actually need fixed. Anyone else in a similar boat? Do you bill the client for the time it takes to fix the IT issue (or IT inefficiency generally, like time taken to find a file in a convoluted system)? Or is that supposed to be our non-billable time?
