I’ve been working in Ford since last 4 years. I joined as a fresher in Sep 2021 as SG4. My current grade is SG5 with a package of 10.3LPA. I asked my manager for a promotion to SG6 and he’s getting it done by this month. If that happens my salary would increase by 30% (considering the last hike percentage from SG4 to SG5). Is that a good package for 4 years experienced in Ford?
Note: I’m also trying to switch but unable to crack any interview.

At what point does the value of a degree fall off? I'm in my early 30s, and have five years of experience, and work on a very theoretically interesting project. I believe I'm on track to promotion in the next year. So, I could put in a year of full time school to check the box off, but I'd be sacrificing hobbies and social life (not to mention cost). Is this FOMO or is there real opportunity here?

I have an offer from a start-up which I will be joining next week. Even though I got a hike more than 100% ( current tc: 6lpa, new tc:14lpa) and changed to sde role I am still not satisfied.
