I landed one of my dream job. When recieving the contract, the HR told me to provide 3 references and that a background check will be done. I am not worried at all about the references and most parts of the background check. However, I started working at a company just after applying to this new one, so it was not on my resume and I never mentioned it during interviews. Could it be an issue ?

Hey folks, I gave round 2 interview in sap labs and got an email from HR that they have kept my candidature on hold. Does that mean the chances of selection has been reduced??

I’m reviewing my resume getting ready to start my job search and have a question for recruiters, hiring managers. I’m looking for a role brand-side not agency side. Specialist roles aside, such as digital, when you see someone describing themselves as a “generalist marketer” is this a resume you’d pass on? My past roles have been such that I do a lot of marketing projects, tasks etc. but I’m not a specialist. I’m worried if I use this terminology I won’t even be considered for a role. Thank you
