Hi, how long does it take for HR to release offer letter post HR round?

I am looking for a summer internship in consulting. Currently, I'm a 3rd year Economics and Stats student at U of T.
My target companies are KPMG and Accenture, and I really want to work in one of these two as they have the best workplace culture.
I'd appreciate if anyone could help me out with applications or share tips on how to get to the interview round, thanks!

Is it a norm to send a thank you note through your recruiter? I had an iffy interview, and wondering if I bother sending a thank you note. It was very clear that they were trying to do a stress interview so I feel weird saying the usual nice things.

I gave my various rounds of interview in Deloitte USI 2 months ago, and since then till last Friday it was showing " interview in progress" on their job portal, HR said earlier that we are interviewing other candidates. I got an offer from Amazon last week and asked Deloitte recruiter to speed up the process, i didn't get any reply on my email but now it's showing " review in progress" on the job portal. What does it mean? Shall I wait for Deloitte offer or take Amazon's offer.

I need your immediate help for Barclays, i am in the middle of the interview process for Barclays Pune/Mumbai, I have heard that they do check Credit Report for all roles as a part of their Pre employment screening (May be stage 1).
Is that correct?
Can someone please check their Background screening report and confirm?

While I look for work, it’s a bit discouraging seeing how hundreds of people apply for positions I see on LinkedIn. I still apply because you never know and AI plays a huge effect in selections. I am from L3 support background good at troubleshooting Env issues & managing things assigned to me. Hv been working as Devops for sometime now but majority of IaC (chef, shell scripting) task is done by a colleague and I take care of calls & Env issues
Now I am planning to apply for Senior role in my job or switch but the problem is I am unable to clear interview coz of expectation of Scripting n Infra as a code req for all Devops related vacancies, Plz suggest a way fwd?
