Got a temp offer for less than a year without promise of turning into full-time. Wanted to know what ppl think about temp jobs (looks bad on resume if I don't turn full-time later within the company?) and what comp should look like (e.g. 1.2× of regular comp?).

Got another perm offer in a different industry for similar salary, but I might have to relocate and I'm concerned the work may involve translation instead of pure legal work.

Actually there is one management group based in kolkata. They are offering me vendership for call center executive. But they are asking initial 1k per candidates for the insurance purposes. Insurance for assets they are providing like Mobile etc .

Thinking about switching in house jobs from one bank to another. Current job is great for work life balance but no promotion prospects and pay is below market. New job offers a better title and better pay but work life balance is a bit of an unknown. I have been looking for job change and when I speak to HR's with the expectations of around 25 LPA fixed( my current salary is 15 LPA)... Most of the companies are directly rejecting my profile saying budget issue...

But is it really more that i am asking for or is it because of the my skill set?

Just got offered a job at a small biotech in London (UK). ~£45k plus bonus but only 1YR FTC and no equity.

Pretty sure it's a discovery role too.

I just finished my PhD at a very good uni with 3 years technician experience before that. BSc and MSc also at very good unis with good grades.

I've had 2 rounds of interviews at Google (UK) for a non-tech role in Platforms & Ecosystems (L4/L5). Recruiter told me that I've been selected for the final rounds (GCA + Leadership Interview). From his feedback, one thing they wanted me to improve on was the GCA Questions. Would anyone have any tips on how to prepare for these? I've checked some of Jeff Sipe videos online but would appreciate any support! I find GCA quite stressful...

I am holding an offer of 12.2LPA having 4.4 yrs of experience in Citrix Administration.
MasterCard is offering me 13.5LPA as fixed pay and 7% as variable pay.
