I'm currently working as QA 2 having around 3.5 YOE in manual testing. I'm planning to switch in automation role in next 6 months. Currently I'm learning core Java then planning to learn selenium, please add any suggestions that could help me to get into automation role?
Is it a good decision to switch to automation only or should I try for development from there?

Hi fishes, I joined infosys as manual tester in trade finance domain at 3 Lpa now after almost 2 years of experience I have offer from tcs for 4 Lpa and quality kiosk for 7.5 lpa. Tcs offered me a developer role while quality kiosk offered me the same role in Testing with trade finance domain. Tcs refused to renegotiate the salary even a little. I'm not sure where I should join, any suggestions?
