Was given a copy of my first evaluation from administration (this is my fourth year working for the school district). Admin didn't know that I went to central office the spring semester of my second year to get a copy of that eval.
When looking at both evals, I found that Admin changed some things after I got my copy which lowered my overall score. Went to my union rep about it, and now I have a conference with my principal. Did I do the right thing, or should I have just let it be?

So the public unions have tried to divert funds for new students, wishing to attend private schools in Calif... any other states preventing school choice?

Should we create a union? Honestly we need one! No more third parties handling our contracts!

I’m a solar electrician at sunrun. I focus mainly on energy storage systems such as Tesla batteries. Currently making 93k a year with Lots of OT that push me into 150k a year. High stress job and high reward. At 31, I feel I could keep up with the long hours but I know eventually it will have to stop as it’s not sustainable long term. Are there any workarounds for a non signatory agency to have a SAG celebrity VO on a non-union television spot? I’ve heard some people shoot OCP’s off shore then hire a union VO but I’ve always been wary of that. Having a hard time getting a straight answer so please weigh in with your hive knowledge! TIA

So as much as I embrace the tenets of socialism, I have to admit: I'm not a part of a union. I don't know of any programmer's union and I don't know where to start if I want to organize in my own company.
