If anyone works at a charter without a union, are teachers generally invited into the decision making process at your charter school? Does your school have leadership committees/teams with teacher representatives?

Reposting: Looking for PA’s and/or NP’s for Neurosurgery practice in Union county NJ with OR experience.

I currently work at a large research institution and am in the process of getting retroactively reclassified to a new title (Long story but my PI is cheap and routinely pays ppl the bare minimum so now the Union is helping me w/ a retro reclass.) Reclass can take 2 - 6 months to process. Meanwhile, I am interviewing for industry job. If I get an industry job, what do I do if my reclass isn’t processed yet? I want the title and the money owed which may be about $15000- 20000.

I read a contract from San Diego that had some very interesting language for Special Educators. Thinking about sending it to the Union to see.

Anyone have rate advice for a stint in reality? Non-union, web and streaming platforms, day rate. I do expect it to be lower than advertising rates but need a number to come at them with.

How many billable hours per week is considered at capacity? I’m getting pushback on boundaries I’m setting about additional matters and marketing work from my firm when I’ve been billing 60-75 hours per week for the last 6 weeks, and I’m still behind on my work. I’m 25 and have found a duplex I’m considering purchasing as a rental property. Planning on renting both units and have the cash to make the down payment without an issue. My cash flow analysis has a payback period of 3 years for my down payment and a 13 year payback period for the whole investment. I think financially it makes sense. I'm in the middle of a background check with Deloitte for a Project Delivery role. In the background check application I listed my previous employers - Cognizant/Teksystems etc but my resume only had the client names I worked at . Does this pose a problem if Deloitte HR compares my resume to the background check form ? Also my title within cognizant might have been an associate but my resume mentions the designation for the client. Is this a reason for concern? Will they ask me to justify it ?
