Recently accepted this role as Product Manager(Payments) at VISA for the Bengaluru location with the offer around 31LPA. However, after coming down to Bengaluru, I am seeing the Product Manager salary shopping game way bigger than I could imagine.

I have 14 years of experience where most of it under cards&Payments domain and am a CSM. I could have switched location and company a lot earlier but it's okay.

Need suggestions - Shall I start looking for options for better salary?

Do you think that I could make the point that as a 22 year old, I plan to be on my parents insurance for the next 4 years until I can’t be anymore, to negotiate a higher salary? I’m not costing the company insurance, so they can afford to pay me more is my reasoning. Am I crazy or does this have some substance behind it and how would I even start that conversation? Any advice appreciated. I make 56k now, looking to be around 60

Got my first salary job, but the check is lower than I calculated. I only had a week under my belt before my first paycheck, but I thought salary would mean it would still be a full paycheck? Is your first check usually prorated for how long you’ve been there?

If you’re in a short term contract role that pays $18/hr if you shift to full time does anyone have any idea how much you would end up making annually?
I feel like 18/hr would most likely result in between 45-50k. Any insight on this as a coordinator for HR?I know it’s vague, supposed to be converting to full time I have another offer that will give me 75k. I would love to stay in the company I’m with but I already know they won’t inform me until the last week of my contract. Any advice?

I was told today that I owe my company that I am leaving a total of $6k in PTO for a two-week trip I took just before quitting. I had not intended on leaving, but the timing was terrible (taking off just before quitting). It was also noted what was owed would be taken out of my final paycheck.
