Just got off the phone with a recruiter who asked me what year I graduated from my MBA program and college and effectively told me I was too old for the role. I do have the 1 year of experience they asked for in the job in question. It's just that I have all this other experience in things unrelated to the role or things I want to deemphasize in my next role. Is there anything I can do? I only list the last 8 years of experience (as it's most relevant) and don't have my graduation years listed.

Assuming both firms agree to similar pricing, when would people use biglaw versus a smaller firm (~100 lawyers) with equally (if not more) qualified people on the particular deal? This is for a decent size (~50 million) corporate transaction but within both firm’s capabilities. Basically are there situations where you use biglaw because it’s biglaw, even if smaller firm can do the job?

Just had my 4th and final interview with Accenture with someone very high up, other 3 skills interviews all loved me and went great, and this guy couldn’t have been a bigger a$$hole to me during our call if he tried.

Like hung up the call at the end and didn’t say bye lol. I’ve already been vetted by SM’s, I have 10YOE, and this guy acts like this why exactly? Just kinda stunned atm, do I even want to work there now even if he gives the okay… anyone else experienced this before? Disappointed.
