Any recs for how to learn how to drive in LA? 😅 Would you recommend driving classes?

I live in metro Atlanta. I’m looking to move to a space that has a more suburban feel, but is still close enough to the city to not hamper my social life. I like going to the party - not constantly living in it. Any suggestions? Currently renting, but open to buying in the next three years.
