Morgan & Morgan Hello! Has anyone worked at Morgan and Morgan? I have a general gist but would like to hear examples. I’m particularly interested in the Atlanta area. Morgan & Morgan

I have a former colleague here in the Detroit area who went to work at Morgan & Morgan. She did not stay there long, saying it was unorganized and demanding. High turnover. We worked together at a high-volume Plaintiff P. I. firm, so handling a heavy caseload wasn’t new to her. M&M puts a lot of pressure on their support staff, and to her it just wasn’t worth it.

I've been across from them and anytime we saw their name, we definitely didn't take things too seriously. We knew there would be several attorneys and staff members on the case because of high turn over. Things were dropped or missed often (obviously that's reflected on the person working on the case). They are a churn and burn firm that seems to take every case and over values them from day 1.

If no, then will it be good enough for 3 people to lead a decent life in London (Like Hounslow or Milton Keyes) including a 2 year old kid. Traveling to London on daily basis.
If yes, then kindly suggest a reasonable salary range for this role.

My company has given me a promotion without a raise. Any suggestions on how to deal with this?

Little background:

Asked for promotion in late 2020 - was required to skill up, after skilling up, asked again about when I'll be promoted and was denied because there is no "vacancy" for it.
Got my annual hike in Oct 2021 without the promotion. I asked HR last week again and got a random announcement email saying my promotion is w.e.f Oct 2021. ( and no raise for the newly promoted role).

I did it! I got an in-house Paralegal position after years of working and being burned out at different law firms. Prayerfully, this transition will be a good one.

Hi everyone. Is it typical for the attorney to take credit for the work a paralegal does? An example: I gave some ideas about deposition questions and some observations I made (I was asked about giving suggestions) regarding a witness and the attorney mentioned that he’s the one that had these great questions/observations. Zero credit or thank you for the work I did.

Currently a paralegal at a small start up financial services company been there for just a little over a year. I wear “multiple hats” but more recently I’ve done a lot of PM work and some BA work. My position title is changing soon but I’m wondering how helpful that would be for wanting to go into PM work at a tech company. Anyone have any career pivot advice?
