Quick question.
I was a contractor for a big company and they just let me know that my last day is December 30th. I got this position thanks to a recruiting company that has been great and gives me benefits.
Should I:
- Continue working with the recruiting company, hoping that they will find another position for me? (as they told me they will, and when they applied me I started working with my current company within 2 weeks)
- Work with the recruiter + apply for jobs on my own?

How long does it take to get a job , when you actively apply every day for weeks. Or better still how do I do it right?

Finally landed a Product Manager interview. It's taken 30+ applications to get one. Generally, what should I expect? (In terms of questions). This interview is with 2 senior managers. I got passed the initial recruiter screening.

What is the protocol with talking with recruiters? I'm not pre se looking to move right now but if something with more money and flexibility regarding location opens up then I'm not opposed.

Is it wrong to talk to them about possible opportunities?

Does anyone have any experience with tietoevry? How's the company/work culture? The person taking my technical round was quite rude to me but they still went ahead with the managerial round and now asking for documents. I offers from Capgemini and Globallogic.

Over the last couple of months I’ve interviewed for a number of jobs and made it to second and third round interviews but never got an offer. My last interview was on Monday and I got feedback that I did not get selected because it did not seem like I was a a team player. EAs who manage people / have direct reports -- did your title change when you took on people management? What is your official title now?

(Context - trying to decide what title to recommend for EAs in our org who now manage people. Currently, we have multiple levels, but all EAs have the "Executive Assistant" title regardless of seniority / level / manager status.)

My boss (exec director) and I need to come up with a schedule strategy. We work in a hybrid setting, 1-2 days in office, the rest remote. As you all know, the days fill up quickly with travel, meetings and requests internal, external, new partners etc. Fridays are usually off limits to schedule anything unless it’s super important or really no way to work around it. have you seen something, created or implemented a strategy/guideline that would free up more time? I know saying no more would help

What's a good place to live to access both downtown and Argonne national lab in Lemont? I live on the far north side of Chicago now, but my partner got a new job and it would be an hour each way by car to commute for him. I work downtown along the red line. Looking for somewhere affordable, not interested in night life or anything but groceries and transit need to be 10 minute walk or less and be safe. The recruiter at a job fair yesterday said I'm a good fit, but to send her an email with edits to the resume to make it look more like a managers one because they have to sell applicants to higher ups and schedule an interview.
