I am writing to seek your advice and guidance regarding my Canada visitor visa application. I recently received a passport collection request from IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada).

I understand that IRCC requires me to send my passport to a visa application center to finalize my application. However, before proceeding, I would like to confirm if there is a visa application center in Houston, TX, where I can send my passport as requested.

Any international senior creatives who are on O1 visa ? Need some assistance please.

My wife and I are moving to Boston from overseas (we’re from Italy and we’ve recently won the diversity visa green card lottery).

We are looking to rent a 1BR starting in January, ideally for ~$3k/month. I’ll be working in the downtown area.

Do you recommend we go for a serviced/luxury apartment (e.g. Montaje, 345 Harrison, etc.) or hire a broker to get a “normal” apartment?

Any managed buildings recommendations within our budget? Also, what are some good brokers we could work with?

I am currently working as a Data Science Analyst in Amex and would like to make a switch to Fraud detection/Credit risk modelling in future.(not in a hurry but would like to start preparing for the same)
How should I go about preparing for it? Is MBA the only course?
My current tech stack is Python, Pyspark, Hive, SQL, ML, DL(specifically NLP based). I have already done MS in CS from IIT Kgp.
I am confused mainly cause the tech stack requirement is similar to my role in the company.

Joining Deloitte. I just submitted my documents to immigration. How long will it take to file my H1B case with USCIS? It’s wired big company like Deloitte is using third party law firm for H1B transfers.

Anybody with approved H1B but not stamped due to no on-site opportunity? Any ideas what should be the next step ? Can I apply for deloitte US job directly? Or look for jobs outside using the same visa approval?

Which CC is better for sign-up bonus - Citi Premier 80K points or Chase Aer Lingus/Iberia 100K Avios points?

Is there a way of bypassing the H1B lottery? I was told by an external recruiter that if I joined their London team, after a year I could go through H1B process without the lottery. My preference is to remain with Deloitte and transfer - can Deloitte put me through without the lottery? Are there stipulations such as minimum tenure or degree types etc?

I had to leave the US before my lease ended due to visa reasons and subleased the apartment. I will be returning to the US on L1A shortly after the sublease ends (but before the term of the lease expires), could that jeopardize my return on L1A?
