They still haven't adjusted the tax brackets to account for inflation. If you take that into account, it's actually very understated, very demure. It doesn't seem like anyone is a big winner or loser because the changes really don't seem that significant - at least compared to the previous tax cut.

As a country? Yes. But if you're a part of the wealthiest people in the country, this is a golden era for you. I am not one of these lucky people, so I'm not loving this policy lol
Changes in tax law mean more work for tax accountants, so it sounds good from a business perspective. On policy grounds, increasing the deficit to give a break to those least in need and partially paying for it by taking from those most in need seems like a pretty terrible mix.
