Hey all, checking in to see how summer business is going. I'm a fractional marketing consultant, going on 4-5 years now, and I'm finding it harder than usual to bring in new clients and keep my current ones happy these days. How's it been for you? Quieter, busier, or business as usual?

Last associates committee meeting is coming up. Partners have asked each associate to come up with... not one... but FIVE marketing ideas. Other than reeling out “we offer competitive pay” in job postings, what are some good ones your firm does?

I’m struggling a bit. If I knew how to market well, I certainly wouldn’t be in this position.

Friendly reminder folks- don’t work for Havas Health and You. They cut the freelancers hourly rates, again and made it so there’s no OT. The resource manager at HOV said if I couldn’t swing $80 an hour as an HCP copywriter, she’d have to find someone else. Good luck 👍🏻
