Is WFH/remote work here to stay for freelancers? I’m in LA and considering a move to a much smaller market (Atlanta) but I’m worried about losing clients if I can’t physically go into the office (whenever that starts happening again).

My manager has announced for hybrid/wfo mode. 3 days in a office mandatory...what are your thoughts guys

I may have a better offer which could be shared only next week as approvals are in process , which offers me wfh option and a little better package and my joining in the next company LTI is on 8th Nov, I am unable to push the joining date to buy some time as HR denied on the same , please suggest me how should I tackle this situation as I’m more interested to join the one giving WFH ? Before covid and wfh, we were in gurgaon and we used to go to each other's places to have some "private time"

Just got another rejection... Is exiting to FAANG or MB really this hard? Trying to go tech.. or mbb, but not getting anywhere. I have 2 masters (mba, ms) from top schools, been in consulting for over 10 years, I am confident that I know my stuff well..but still I keep getting rejected. I am feeling lost in job. So I’ve applied for Accounts payable they offered 40k. I said why not to gain some experience. I didn’t even bother negotiating which I regret.
Fast forward I noticed that I was eventually handed everyone’s workload (AR & imports & duty and check coworker work + AP) Spoke to them about pay increase based on workload. So they raised it to 55k.. but I still feel underpaid based on the amt of work I do. I don’t know what my title or what to put on resume..

Friendly reminder folks- don’t work for Havas Health and You. They cut the freelancers hourly rates, again and made it so there’s no OT. The resource manager at HOV said if I couldn’t swing $80 an hour as an HCP copywriter, she’d have to find someone else. Good luck 👍🏻

I’ve been a freelance print production designer for many years, and usually on-site in the before times. Now I work remote, and am finding it uneasy dealing with billing. Before I always billed hourly, which made sense, but it’s becoming an issue now. Some companies don’t have a full days’ work, so it seems wrong to bill full days, and it allows me to juggle projects for different companies, but my billable hours are down.
