I’m currently working at a Series B startup and my end goal has always been to found my own startup, but I graduated from college 2.5 years ago and I still have not had any great ideas cross my mind. I do spend a fair amount of time brainstorming. I don’t want to continue working here forever, but I’m struggling to generate that “this is it” idea to build a company for. Any advice?

Attended a top 5 UG and have 1 YOE. Doing mostly public sector work right now. Hours are fine, but pay is not at all competitive and the work is slow and not interesting. Thinking of exiting to something that’s more intense and stimulating. Thoughts on next steps? Should I try to apply and lateral to a different firm that isn’t so public sector focused?

After 2 weeks they said Role no longer available. It was L5 supply chain role. This happened in April. Can I apply again in Amazon? I left deloitte India manager role to join IQVIA lead developer because of a difference in salary of around 5lpa and also because I read bad reviews about DI throughout. It's been a week that I got onboarded in iqvia but still haven't received laptop and no sign of work getting started. I am bored, demoralized and regretting not joining Deloitte now. Please someone tell me if it was the right decision 😔.

Hi Fishes, asking this for a friend working as SAP BASIS Consultant.
He performed well in TCS technical round and HR also seemed to be happy with his performance.
He asked for 8.5 LPA, his current CTC being 4.3 LPA, with little over 3 years of experience.
HR said they would call him later and after 4 days, HR called and said she was informed by management that they could only provide 6 LPA :(
Any idea why they offered him that less? He is very disappointed with the way things turned out to him
