Company : Morgan Stanley
Designation : Associate - Global
Role : Compliance Technology Strategy
Division : Legal and Compliance
How is this position for a BE+ MBA , total 3+ years of IT experience in top MNC.What would be the expected CTC and next hierarchy designation ( after a promotion ) ? Morgan Stanley
Hi there. Ex Deloitte Sr Mgr here, currently in tech pre sales (SaaS / MarTech). Recently spoke to both Salesforce and Adobe recruiters for roles that I thought were lateral moves (Sr SA / Sr SC), therefore I did not proceed with the selection process. The recruiters from both companies told me they typically hire at that level, and people are considered for promotion to Principal in 1 to 2 years. I found that odd. Is that right? What’s the typical TC for SAs and SCs there? (15+ yrs exp).

I have already completed 1 year with Accenture and is now eligible for a sub level movement. What is the usual increment given for sub level movement? And what should be the ideal fixed package for level 10.1 ?

I went through this recently. I had retention discussion. It was not successful. They did not match the external offer I received, nor were they willing to come close to it.
I have heard of people whose salary got matched. Usually it's around 30% and if the person is very critical and has good rapport.
I was told that even if I get retained, the normal appraisal cycle hike and bonus will be given although the hike will be lesser than usual. But of course I can't vouch for it.
The timeline communicated to me was 2 weeks, i. E - after discussion and agreeing to a hike number they'll take 2 weeks to send a revised offer letter.

Sure
All retention is on hold right now
Oh any idea why? And how Long
I was retained in Dec 2025. In my scenario, the offer was not matched. I had got an external offer with 40% hike. With HR negotiations in EY, I got a deal of 25% fixed and 6% Retention bonus(one time). I had personal situations which favoured being retained. The process took quite long. Around 20-25 days from resigning I had discussion with my talent consultant for negotiation. This was later approved by leadership. I would say I had approx. 15 days left when I got official offer letter. Before that it was all verbal agreement. Hope this helps.
Know of one case who got retained last week. Matched the offer by another company and will be applicable from next month. Annual hike will be there on a low level
