You should try to get to $110k
75-95
cont... LA. my 1 year is coming up where i’ll be reviewed. i’ve killed it for the agency and client since i started. every project delivered on time and under budget. i handle double or triple the amount of projects as other producers with a 10th of the budget and timeline. currently at 90k. 6+ years of experience.
I made $115K a year when I was at the 6th year mark, in LA. You would probably get to $100K if you’re really good and they like your work. If you want to get more than a $10K raise, which you totally can, you should got to another agency with that salary requirement
I say 10-15% of your salary. Unless you’re jumping to another shop, it’s hard to get 20% or more.
Normally, the 10-15 is given when you have a title change. Of course, you can always negotiate that. Are you going for a title change during your interview? If not, if you feel like you’re already doing senior level work, you should ask for 15%.
Might be a tough sell, it’s a high percentage raise but you’ll never know if you don’t ask. Good luck!
These days it’s had to get more than 3% unless you go to the next level title-wise. Good luck
Ive only seen a 10% or greater increase for a non-promotion, when I was just starting out (basically when I was way underpaid).
I’d look for that 3-5% annual, no-matter-what increase. Otherwise, you’ll have to jump or get a promotion
