It would be a safer option if you can let them know. One of my friends lost the offer from mindtree after receiving it, due to background verification. They got to know using PF account, that he obsconded his 1st org in 1 month.
Although your case is different, you haven't obsconded but served the notice period of previous org. If you can let them know in advance then the whole problem is solved. If you already had all the discussions(since bgv is in progress) then just leave it on luck. They may or may not find out as each company has different bgv process.
Your current employer will most probably catch during PF account creation. ( If your previous employer has created a PF account during 2 months of tenure )
Depends upon the HR and company policy. For instance, Genpact once asked a person to leave because of the issue you just mentioned.
On the other hand, some companies do not even bother to verify tenure of last company.
If it has been 2 months already, there is a fair chance it will be okay.
Okay. No one can really tell you the answer, but to look at chances of them making a big deal out of ir are very low, around 10-15%.
Keep your fingers crossed. Generally HRs from previous companies do not hold grudges against defaulters as they know it messes with their careers. So just hope the HR on that end is good, if at all he/she is contacted by your new company.
All the best!
Are you still employed, have you served the Np in that 2 months job, did you received the salary? Have you abscond that company, was that your first company, please share full details.
It won't create problem whether you tell them or hide it, I would say better to not tell
Yes if PF generated u should add as employement history for ur this organisation
