Hey so I am currently looking to transition into Producing in advertising and/or a media production. I have a film background — MFA in directing, produced several short films, docs, events etc. I worked in talent — casting, and then talent manager at omnicom. I do post work as well — video editing and post production supervisor. I want to produce live events, experiential, commercials, etc. I’ve worked as a stagehand. Does anyone have any advice for landing an associate producer role?

How does one go about switching countries while staying in similar roles? Eg moving from NA to EU, similar role/L-level?
I understand factors like previous perf results, and immigration laws. Do people do this? Can someone share their experience (own/anecdotal)?

I got offer of 148+ ,10k bonus from deloitte on sc role.I am currently on h1b.. currently on 102k and there will be increase in salary for us this year and some bonus.. I was not actively looking but now confused should I join.. looking work culture etc. Need suggestions.. thanks

Agency producer here. I have an interview with an in-house agency tomorrow and I’m trying to prep myself/anticipate questions that the Exec Producer will ask. Any sample questions you guys can think of? I feel so rusty, it’s been over 5 years since I’ve interviewed anywhere. Very much appreciated!

Are there any online courses or resources that can help expand my knowledge of TV copyright information and anything more on the legal side of things? My internal video team is heavily leaned on for that type of info and do know a fair amount but I'd like to be more prepared all around. Google/tapping Producer friends is only relatively helpful.

We do have a lawyer that we can meet with but they're also not an expert and turnarounds are always very long so not as helpful as I'd hoped.
