Final salary discussion with IBM last week; recruiter said offer in 3 days . Now I see two applications:

Old job ID: “Under recruiter review”
New job ID: “In interview process”

Today received a new Background check form for the new job ID, though I already completed it for the old one along with biometric consent form.

Is this normal? Can I still expect the offer, and should I fill the BGV form again for the new job id?

I've been applying to Internal Audit Manager positions and been rejected for 2 positions based on salary expectations. I have 12YOE in all kinds of audits and industries, is it unreasonable to ask for $120k+ in an industry position?

I’m 3 months into a new job where I work for a global tech company, and I want to ask for a pay review from my manager at the 6 month mark when I pass probation.
I know I’m going above and beyond my responsibilities as I’m not just managing projects, but I’ve also set up a global PMO governance board and have identified gaps within other teams where I’m assisting with the solution.

Is it acceptable for me to be asking this from my manager, and if so how do I raise this?

Who is still in denial about a housing correction? The Fed just made another .75% increase. Powell said they won’t stop until inflation is 2%. He also said a recession would be better than the consequences of unchecked inflation. He announced he will bring rates to a “restrictive level” until “the job is done”. He said that labor demand needs to soften (ie: layoffs). He very explicitly said he wants to slash demand and that housing needs a “correction”.

I’m currently in the process of being converted from contractor to permanent. In my initial conversations I was under the impression that I was in a different pay grade and asked for a salary 25k higher than the max allotted for my position. My joining in ibm on 25th August..But I can join 4-5 days early. So I will ask hr to change my joining date 4-5 days earlier. So am I eligible for any joining bonus or can I ask hr about joining bonus? One other company providing the same CTC as IBM but with 1 lac joining bonus extra...TIA

IBM started to drop the mail for join Slack etc. and the mail for laptop request for new hire .

What if I don't join on the last day or deny to join on last day ? Because still need to decide between two offers .

Similarly, if I am already on bench and initiate seperation from IBM as I am not getting clients I want to join, will it be immediate effective or 1 month or 3 months with salary ?
