I have received an offer from PA Consulting , which I think will speed up my development by around 2 years, compared to staying where I am. (More diverse role, exposure, not just focused on one platform/product for which I currently am). In addition, the offer is also a large increase in package. I have only been at my current company for 6 months, however I would like to take the offer, how do I approach this?

For your experience you have a pretty good ctc. It will be very difficult for companies to accommodate you at a higher band given the less yoe (as unfortunately that's how most HRs will treat you to maintain the pay parity)
For Automation testing I can say you're at the ceiling from a CTC perspective. Though I hope you get to break it and get a better offer. As of now I can suggest dropping the VB script and UFT skills from your resume and try to pivot yourself into a DevOps role. That can help you get a better CTC.
