I am likely to receive an offer from BCG soon, either C1 or C2. I left consulting around 2 years ago as an Associate (post-MBA), and joined corporate as a Manager. Going to BCG will lead to a 30% base decrease, bonus will roughly be the same of 20-25% of the base.

I know the bands are pretty fixed. I was wondering if there’s any suggestions how to negotiate if there’s anything to negotiate? Possibly a sign-on bonus to cover the loss my first year guaranteed comp?

Does anyone have any advice or insight into studying for the Sustainability Excellence Associate (SEA) certification exam? I can’t really find too much information on the test.

Currently I’m a team lead and manage about 8 technicians, my promotion will be to a regional service delivery manager, and I will be managing over 30 in 3 locations. I went from a tier 1 engineer in managed servers to team lead with about a 10k increase in salary.I’m thinking about a 15k increase this time from 65k to 80k. I was approached on LinkedIn for an early career recruiting role in DFW, TX. I don't have direct experience, but I have the university experience/connections from working in career services. This is the first time I've considered work outside of higher education. I said my salary expectations are minimum $90k and that didn't seem to be an issue. Am I asking too little, too much? I spent a year in tax investigations where I believe I was thriving ( I was going to be an assistant manager in July 2023), I had a lot of assistant manager jobs, I even drafted a Code 9 report to HMRC which my manager said was 80% of an actual report, he then added the 20% and submitted it.
After I realised I couldn't maintain all the unpaid overtime I was working I decided to take a turn and go to compliance, so now I work in CT compliance. I feel very surpressed.
