If you are thinking of starting a law practice or growing one with little or no capital, you need to get the book, “Starting & Growing a Law Practice without Breaking the Bank.
It was written based on personal experience and research. I started my practice 11 years ago in the middle of the 2008/2009 recession with about $500 and I have grown the practice significantly over the years using affordable and available resources.
I also coach solo practitioners and small firm attorneys. https://www.amazon.com/Starting-Growing-Practice-Without-Breaking/dp/1099523303

I have done both for considerable time. No the transition should not be a problem at all, as the concept of risk, controls, DEA/OET (for type 2) remains the same. And all ITGC domains are tested as part of SOC reports anyways. Yes some teminology would change. Personally for me SOC 1 and 2 audits were more challeging. People usually wanted to move other way round, i.e., from ITGC to SSAE audits as they rake in more revenue. But you get to learn about testing automated controls as part of ITGC. All the best!
That's really insightful. Thanks a lot.
I thought SOX complaince is in demand and garners more revenue than SOC. Would be grateful if you enlighten about this too
Ask other mangers for the ITGC project and tell your present manger that I will manage both the project.deliver one project and then do the transfer but I will suggest ITGC audits are are not that frequent but good to have in CV
