Hi all , I currently work as an Operations Team lead, although I recently got an offer from NAB for role of VP operations, with a 35% hike, although looking at the horrible reviews for NAB, need help in understanding if this is all true or exaggerated, please advise if I should take the offer.

Discussion post: I feel almost all consulting firms are the same. Mbb, big 4 etc. if you are paid enough there is probably less wlb. If there is good wlb there is not much money. Can you single out a company that you can confidently say pays very well and also has good wlb and also has good opportunities etc.?

I got an offer at Nokia, and my new manager said that she wanted to put me in the higher salary bracket however the HR insisted that we lowered the range. That caused me to receive a much lower salary than expected. Should I renegotiate even when my manager said that she tried giving me more. Does HR really play that big of a role in this?
