I have cleared all the round for Data Engineer, AVP at citi bank. This postion only required 4 yrs of exp and I have exact 4 years exp. I have asked my hiring manager and other interviewers about my role they said its technical heavy and dev work but i might also need to some deliverables tracking and pm work. Hiring manager said nobody will directly report to me. Thats what I want, to do coding and not manage people at such exp. Is it common in citi yo get avp in 4 years at citi? Citi

So i work at this company in coimbatore (india) and we have a very poor work life balance. We have a 6 day working policy and no vacation or sick leaves just 1 day casual leave a month. We usualy had to work around 10 to 12 hrs and no leaves even during govt holidays. How can i make them understand this is killing our personal life. After ~1year of trying during covid, got a job as Client Advisor in NoBroker. It has been 5months but the pressure is high. Now wants to work in IT. Any advice how one should proceed? We Indians are so poor we can't think anything else except money. Whole Fishbowl is all about YOe and Salary. No one interested about if any company doing any innovation or not. B-Tech colleges put ads with Package and Campusing only. Almost 99% Indian YouTube thumbnail is like "5 lakh to 40 lakh", "Interview Experience in bracket 50Lpa" etc.. Hardly we can see Foreign Editorial things marked with Packages.

#sharing thought.

I am also a certified Professional Scrum Master (PSM) and certified Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO). What salary should I ask for. I mean any average CTC looking at the current market and my YOE.

Got 6 lakh jump in HCL with technical specialist role ? wanted to know how HCL is doing with regards to SAP projects? I heard it has more Support Projects, is it true? I see variable pay is 4.4 lacs how this works? I heard they use some application to monitor resources hours in front of laptop? is this seriously monitored? Once resources completes all his deliverables being 9 hours infront of laptop is still mandatory?
