I will be joining Deloitte India this Monday as an Associate Director, I am new to consulting and I have been into product based all these years.
What should I expect on the day of onboarding and should I be wearing a Business Suit?
Also is AD a fairly senior position?

Just curious. Excluding business recovery / restructuring teams that are more counter-cyclical. What TS group do you think is the least cyclical? Valuation / modeling? Accounting advisory? Then lastly how “cyclical” do you view them?

I am an experienced hire. My case might just take you by surprise. I joined EY GDS 10 months back at 40% hike (leaving PwC) and now Deloitte (DIJV) is offering me 2 level up designation at Manager level with another 40% hike. This has effectively doubled my salary in the last one year bt still I am confused to switch or not considering the amazing bonuses GDS payed off today. Please suggest.

I left Deloitte month but i have not received any full and final settlement and release documents. How much time does it take for Deloitte to process. My concern is with release documents more after resignation I have not received any email from Deloitte on my personal ID in next organisation i need releasing letter. l interviewed for Deloitte (India not USI) in January, and accepted an offer letter with DOJ of 25th April, later HR asked me to join on 11th April for which I agreed. Now I haven't received the revised offer letter or any links other than BGV and Pre-Hire form from Deloitte and now the HR is not even picking my calls or responding to emails.

Any advice on what to do?

Please answer if you have worked for both and have significant first hand experience about the difference in WLB, annual hikes, work culture, any other observations.
