Hi All, I'm currently working at State Street (Bangalore) in one of the middle office onboarding roles. I want to transition from onboarding to roles such as Mutual/Hedge fund accounting, settlements or derivatives roles. Can someone suggest me what I should do before applying to any of the aforementioned roles. Like, should I do any course to get complex knowledge about them? I just know basics or is this suffice? Anyone from respective field give me a tip? Thanks!

I have been working remotely since covid getting nothing but positive reviews. My company is not remote friendly and is now telling me I have to return to the office or I lose my job. I just found out a co-worker had a remote position created for them, without a job posting, without an interview and without the experience required (normally a license or certification would be mandatory). I understand life isn’t fair but is there an ethical problem with this?

I have an interview with Korn Ferry for an associate principal role and am curious about others’ experiences have been with work-life balance here. Also, I have an idea of what I should be compensated in this type of role, but any insights on how they pay compared to others would be helpful.
