Considering switching from AT&T to T-Mobile. Based in NYC but worried because I travel quite a bit and the last time I had T-Mobile the connection was spotty. Experiences?

TMO only works well in major cities and transportation corridors. Every time I go visit family in small(ish) cities I live and die by WiFi hotspots.

I echo C1. I have Verizon and I simply expense it to my company. It’s about 10-15% more expensive than other carriers, but many firms have a discount and the network is the best

I haven’t had issues with T-Mobile... I spend quite a decent amount of time in backwoods middle of nowhere and still manage to get a couple of bars

T-Mobile was horrible for me, doesn’t lend itself well to the consultant lifestyle because service isn’t consistent in rural areas or smaller cities.

If your firm pays for your connection go with Verizon or stay with AT&T... I have T-mobile but I also quit travelling role... The connection is bad to non existant in non major cities but one big advantage is free international roaming data and text that I use quite often....
