I got documents submission email pan card and salary slips
No rejection email is received and only documents submission email was received
But now in workday portal the application is in inactive status
And No longer under consideration

It is more like support/dev and unit testing combined. Coding is hardly involved and my hold on DS is weak so not sure if I'll be able to crack technical interviews for C++ dev or anything similar.
So is this a right decision to move from application dev role to Data Science/analyst field? Does software engineer gets paid more?
