Is it normal during a lateral interview process to be informed of an interview the day before?

I had a recruiter phone screen two days ago. I just realized I completely forgot to send a thank you note afterwards. Is it still worth sending at this point ?

I'm a younger plaintiff's side attorney (31). Does anyone else feel like white attorneys give you a particularly harder time? Like unreasonably denying clear facts, or trying to fish for a way to sanction you? Usually it's solo defense attorneys that get extreme with it, but I've seen some questionable stuff from BigLaw too. Hopefully I'm not the only one.

Does anyone stress about student loans? I have $176k in loans and as January gets closer, the panic attacks have gotten worser. I am in-house at a Real Estate company (making $90k), which is terrible bc they are going under due to the market. Okay so I’m a newly licensed attorney in a very conservative part of TX. I just got my first job offer and I was worried at first thinking that I was in “Trump” territory, but I tested the waters in my interview and spoke about police injustices and how prosecutor’s job is not only to protect victims, but also defendants from police injustices. My work quality is slipping due to brain fog and mental health issues and I don’t know how to address it with my firm or who to go to. I was considered one of the best associates in our practice group, but now it can take me 3-4x the time to write an average brief. I can’t seem to think and organize my thoughts any more. This is incredibly scary bc obvi, that’s what this job is all about. I’m in IP litigation at a V50 firm and a mom. Do I raise it with partners and how?
