I know my client needs an Accounting Manager. I know this because they’re startup med device company that has their books in complete shambles. The current accounting team isn’t very strong. How do I let the client know that I would be interested in joining them? They’re not actively recruiting for any position but I know they’d benefit from it. Serious responses only :)
Looking to get a few certifications, I have worked in both IT and HR consulting and am trying to decide between ITIL, SHRM, and PMP. Any thoughts on which would be best for future, quickest to get, hardest test? I get the cert paid for and a bonus upon completion, so trying to decide which one to pursue or the order if I want multiple.
I have an MBA and cpa.. currently doing technical accounting consulting, but would like to transition into a T2 firm management or strategy consulting position. Would anyone like to have a call and refer me to a T2 consulting firm?
If you're billing the same rate, you should get the same salary bands regardless of geography.
I’m currently a TA Coordinator but I’m looking for my next role. I applied for a D&I role but didn’t get it which is what I really want to do. What are some other positions I can move into? I don’t want to do recruiting. I’ve been a Coordinator for over 3 years. I’m ready to move around… or should I take my talents elsewhere?
What is the minimum type of exit offer would consider taking? (Company, Group, Salary, Position). Essentially what tips the balance towards leaving your current job?
Partners or whomever can help me understand about billing and hours. To keep things simple, let’s say you only have one staff to work 1,700 billable hours a year on a $60k salary and you have only one job that and the rate charged to the client is $300/hour and an projected hours budget of 1,700 hours. So ideally you would have revenue of $510k. If the staff takes less time partners make less money and if they take more time partners make more money while the staff keeps the same salary?
Is it easier/harder to recruit for mckinsey implementation vs a generalist role for mba full time recruiting? I kinda like ops work, but wondering if there's any issues with supply & demand re: hiring.

Interviewing for a role at BP, what are they like as a firm to work at? It’d be the commercial/strategy side of the business rather than production. I understand they went thru a major re-org to be relevant for the future energy industry. How’s that going?
What is the general reception to the Siegfried Group? High comp and an out from B4 but that isn’t worth it to me if it’s at the cost of development and career progression. Any tips for someone who is trying to jump ship from B4 as soon as possible?
Missed to add one least important client attendee on a meeting invite. And got a passive aggressive ping from the SM: let me know if you need any help in scheduling the remaining meetings. Why is it so hostile in consulting?
Is Uber at ORD okay now? Several months back when I took Uber from ORD I waited for 20 minutes because of traffic in parking lot. Trying to decide to fly to MDW or ORD

I am a ball of anxiety today. Started tearing up in the Uber I was in earlier cuz I thought I was about to have a panic attack. I took two lorazepam and I’m in my bed with the shades down finding something to watch on TV to calm down. I can’t slow down my brain. I’m so sick of this.
