Hi! Can anyone explain how the referral process works at AmEx? Is the referral tied to candidate profile or a specific job ID? I recently got referred, however, the link only asked to create general candidate profile and not any job ID, I had to individually apply to my preferred role and nowhere does it say that I have been referred except the email invite to create profile. I am a little worried whether or not my profile will be flagged to the recruiter as a referral. Pls explain how it works.

recruiter had told me in the initial call the
pay could be 32-36 because of the other
benefits. If I do get a job offer what range
should I try for? I was really hoping to get
around the 36-40 but now I feel like they
may try to offer lower than what was
posted. Also there was no range but the
average for this position is upper 70s-90k.
