Hi Fishes I have 2 offer 1 from epam anywhere and other is from deloitte, which is better to join ?. Would you take up a low paying job to retain or get higher title? I’m being offered a pre ipo crypto company offer for about same current comp but without the stock options which puts me $100k lower than current.

Let's say I can't get a product or marketing job in tech, but I could get in via sales or customer success. Does working in those roles pigeonhole you, or is it easy to switch later? If you take a job as a customer success mgr for ads, or as a partnership mgr for learning solutions for industry X, are you going to get stuck in those products (ads, learning solutions), roles (CS, sales/partnerships), or target industry (X)?

Completed all the interviews and had positive feedback but before the offer I spoke with the recruiter (third party) and asked them if I can get to a certain compensation number as I might have couple other offers around that number but they got back saying the firm has decided to move on as they cannot match it.
