hi everyone! how’s everyone doing? it’s been a year since i posted here about my copy partner and I being Christians, working on the same team together, and starting our day with prayer. Recently, we’ve been moved to different teams, but we still do our prayer time. We started to pray for our new teams, and looked at it as if God was placing us in two different mission fields. Just wanted to share that God is always so good!

Also maybe we should have a multi-agency prayer time? 😉

My boss won’t stop sexually harassing me. Verbally, email, texts - 400+. He even set up his office with a display of sex toys and edibles condiments to show me that he planned to give me oral sex. All started 3 weeks into the job. I moved my family cross country for this job and just bought a house. I have been using this emoji 🙏 and saying to so many colleagues and clients “I’ll pray for you” with such warm and genuine receipt that I think sometimes God uses hopelessness to open people’s hearts to Him. I’ve spoken about my faith to work people more than I ever have in my 20 year career. In such a dark time, what a light prayer can be for our coworkers and clients.

I’m a first generation professional and have been in this industry for only a few years. Anyone have an suggestions for dealing with discouragement and burnout? It’s been challenging trying to maintain career optimism and figure out my career with little guidance while also trying to be an encouragement to burnt out colleagues when I’m already feeling weary.

Today, I was looking through other bowls and see comments like: “Anyone tired of chasing money?” “Is it just me or as I get older do you realize how little awards and accolades mean?” And I’m reminded of how grateful I am to have my hope in something other than my work. I hope my coworkers see that in me, too. That I work hard but advertising is not what fulfills me.

It has been hard to find a church in NYC where your friends with kids around 12yo are not moving to somewhere else.

How does Christians feel about therapy sessions? Should we be taking our problems to therapists and psychologists or should we take them to God and pray about it?

The thing prayed for became a praise report that’s now back 2 a prayer request. God help me! Grateful for the shift but don’t yet feel I’m walking in my calling. How 2 remain steadfast in the journey?
